About us
Who is Rise?
Rise Publishing was founded by Rion Duncan in 2016 to establish a platform from which to publish his own books and create opportunities for new authors to turn their dream works into realities. Our goal is to create an open submission publishing company that gives authors easy access to the tools and assistance they need to bring their books to life while ensuring the authors get the maximum compensation possible. We recent published our first novel, Idonia Creation by Rion Duncan, and from there we will continue to grow organically to allow the open submission process to commence. Rion Duncan
Founder, Author, Oddity
A bit of an eccentric one, Rion is the founder of the company and assembler of our eclectic bunch. From writing books to working on the website to taking out the trash he does a bit of everything.
Evan spends most of his time making sure all the things Rion types up come across correctly so that people will actually want to read it. He also helps with the marketing naturally.

Tiff has the unlucky job of putting up with Rion even at home, but for Rise she gets to make all kinds of beautiful character artworks to help bring our stories to life from concept art to digital paintings.
Alan Mooney of Defy Industries specializes in streamlining our abstract designs into finished products. Basically he takes Rion’s finger paintings and makes them actual fonts and designs.

Landscape Artist
Lera works alongside Rion and Tiff on the other side of the art creation to build landscapes and scenery images, such as the rendition of Leghtus for the Idonia series.
When Brian isn’t selling houses through his real estate page or helping businesses through his creative skills he’s making sure our site is the best it can be and helping build our marketing strategy.
